Mattress is a good balance between soft and firm. I have a spinal compression fracture and this has helped my pain so much. Definitely worth the investment!!

Sleeping on a new mattress was a much greater experience than we expected. WE were aware that it was time for achange but had no idea what a new mattress could provide. Alon with purchsing the new pillows we are set for many night of great sleep.

I thought long and hard about buying this bed. The price was steep. However, totally worth it! I was having problems sleeping and neck problems. Both issues have improved since buying me new bed. I also wrestled with whether or not to buy the adjustable base. Let me tell you just buy it. You will be sorry if you don't!

After sleeping for 10 years on a generic memory foam bed to step up to the real deal was years in the making. I only wish I would've had a Tempur-pedic a long, long time ago. It's been the most comfortable nights sleep we've ever had and can't recommend the product enough!

A fine product. I can't wait to get into bed each night. Maybe the very top surface of the mattress could be a tiny bit softer. I am sure time will probably produce that effect anyway. Sleeping on this mattress has improved my chronic back pain considerably.

We bought the Tempur Pedic hybrid medium mattress and the adjustable base with vibration.
When you sit or lie, the mattress sinks down in order to absorb your body. It cradles your body so you are not lying on it, but your body sinks into it.
The adjustable base is just incredible in that we sleep in a position where it is slightly elevated for the head and that has helped us with several health issues.
It helps with acid reflux, post nasal drip, and snoring.
We fall asleep with the vibration which sooths and relaxed our bodies after a long day of work.

We've had a king-sized Tempurpedic bed for over 20 years and LOVED IT! That mattress changed our lives; no more hip aches, backaches or 3 a.m. tinkle fairy calls. When we decided to get a new bed, we went right back to Tempurpedic. Owning one of these beds is a huge investment and we're thinking this will be the last bed we'll have, at this point in our lives. Getting older and dealing with digestion issues and sinus issues, we went with a new Tempurpedic Adustable Bed with two twin XL beds so we can each adjust our own side. Having been used to a very hard, stable bed, we went to the Medium, at the suggestion of our salesperson. We thought we were coming down one level, to a less hard mattress with a little give) and these new beds are quite a bit softer than what we are used to. I've already returned my mattress once. We LOVE the adjustable part! No more digestive issues at all! I just wish the mattress wasn't so soft. It takes some getting used to, I guess. We also got $300 worth of Tempurpedic products free - unfortunately, the sheets that we got do not stay on the mattresses well, they lift off the edges and bunch underneath you; and the two mattress covers were like sleeping on diapers (the noise and sounds were very disruptive to our sleep; so I've replaced both mattress pads and the two sheet sets that we got for "free". But no complaints with my new pillows!! I do want to say to anyone thinking of purchasing a mattress - lay on them for a long period of time; purchasing a mattress is a huge commitment, financial and health wise and should not be made in a few minutes sitting on a bunch of mattresses. Tell your salesperson what you like and do not like about your current mattress. I wish that the store's return policy was more accommodating; apparently you can only return once - even though you have two mattresses (yes, you get 30 days to return but when you've waited three weeks for your mattress and in four days' time, realize you hate it), of course you want to return immediately for a replacement which, unfortunately took another three weeks to arrive. One really great thing about the new, improved Tempurpedic mattresses vs. my old one; they're much cooler; breath better, I'm sure due to better materials.

I was hesitant about the price, but after pulling the trigger, I could tell just after the first night for years, it would take me at least 45 minutes in the morning to get moving. Now I get out of bed and I feel 20 years younger and move right away. I should've bought this bed 10 years ago. Go for it you will not regret it

Bed is firm at first but the more you sleep in it the more comfortable it is. It gets softer without getting divets or indents. I have noticed a big improvement in body aches and sleep quality. Very much worth spending some extra money to get this bed!! I don't think I will ever purchase a different brand again.

We have the adjustable twin beds, which allow us to have individual settings. We have a headboard, but no footboard which allows me to move the twin beds apart enough to make the beds with ease and move them back in place.

Love this mattress, so much that I purchased the same one twice! I purchased my first Tempur Pedic mattress in November 2018 and in January 2023 after only 4 years and plumbing situation that soaked my mattress, it was time to replace the soaked damaged mattress. I went straight to Sit'n Sleep had the sales person look up my purchase history so that I could buy same mattress again. I'm very happy with my decision to repurchase the Tempur Adapt mattress again, the mattress "break-in' process is bit hard pun intended but after a couple months the mattress softens-up and is the best thing time to climb-in to at the end of a long day. It's the best sleep and rest I've ever experienced.

The best thing about the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress is that my wife doesn't feel anything when I toss and turn. I'm a restless sleeper, and I tend to move around a lot during the night. With our old traditional box spring / mattress set-up, every time I would fidget, she would feel it. Our new TEMPUR-Pedic mattress absorbs my moving around and she gets to continue with her blissful slumber. Also, I'm a tummy sleeper (when I finally settle down), and this mattress was rightly recommended for this type of sleeper. This is our first foam mattress, so I'm still getting used to the way it "hugs" me and the "sinking in." I might have preferred a firmer option, but I'm not willing to give up on this new experience so quickly. Finally, I can only wait till summer to find out whether this is a "hot" mattress. We bought this in Wintertime, so that's my biggest worry right now.

We decided it was time to replace our 15 year-old Tempur-Pedic pillow-top mattress with a new Tempur-Adapt Medium mattress. For curiosity I did look into other mattresses but ultimately decided to stay with the Tempur-Pedic brand that we have been so happy with over the years. After trying this mattress out in the store, I saw no reason to spend an additional thousand dollars on the Tempur-ProAdapt mattress. My wife and I are side sleepers and have been very happy with this mattress for over a month now.

My wife loves the bed but she's having problems also. For me I wake up every morning and it feels like my lungs hurt and my back hurts. I'm not liking as bad at all. Hopefully with the 30 day thing it gets better but as of right now I am not getting a good nights sleep, or waking up feeling refreshed.

The first night I slept on the Adapt mattress I woke up with no more body aches. Only slept on it twice so far and it is a little firm, but everyone who has a Tempur-pedic says it will take about a month to break in. I have Tencel sheets and don't sleep any hotter than my old innerspring mattress. I highly recommend getting a power base so you can lay in zero gravity which takes all the pressure off your lower back. As a total side sleeper, I think I could learn to sleep on my back. Raising the back is great for acid reflux or when you just can't get your pillow the right height. Looking forward to the mattress being broken in and will post another review at that time.

We purchased the king split hybrid adjustable base and now we can finally sleep through the night and wake with NO pressure point pain lower back pain or feeling stiff and tight. We can swing our legs out of bed feeling refresh and not sore all over. The mattress is extremely comfortable. I recommend to anyone who's considering purchasing a new mattress. It has definitely improved our quality of sleep.
